Also silver plated, was told the original one that came with the cornet Also included. Cornet comes with a silver plated mouthpiece that has embossed on it as: Kosikup Reg 2 also has 1 1/2 B&H 1049 made in England I have included is a note holder. Overall measurement from the end of the bell to end of mouth piece is 13 inches. I'm not a player but do feel the valves are spring loaded and move very smoothly and freely up and down. It was left in the condition as found due to some individuals like the old tarnish look. Hardly no dings or dents on it, according to serial number 247433 puts it from the 1940's.
